This morning VMware announced the latest crop of vExperts - 1360 this year - and I just want to take 5 mins to congratulate everyone. It’s nice to be recognised by VMware for participating in (and hopefully contributing to) the virtualisation community, and i’m honoured to be in for a 2nd year running.

Here is VMware’s own take on the award:

The annual VMware vExpert title is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year. The title is awarded to individuals (not employers) for their commitment to sharing their knowledge and passion for VMware technology above and beyond their job requirements.

Special congratulations to my colleagues at ANS Tim and Jason, and to my NetAppATeam brethren who also made the cut.

The full list can be found here, and well done again everyone!
